Watermelon Painted Rocks for Kids Activity
First, you'll need some supplies:
- River Rocks - Bright Red, White, Green, Black, and Gold Paint - Paint Brushes - Protective Table Cover
How To Paint Watermelon Rocks

Paint the Base Red
Cover the bottom half of the rock with the red paint to
make the flesh of the fruit

Paint in the Rind
Add some realistic coloration by mixing the green with white to make a lighter green hue....

Paint in the Watermelon Stripes
Create depth in the Rind by
drawing lines that are both dark and light green

Add Dots for the Seeds
Using both the black and gold paint, dot the rock with some "seeds" and Voila!
