One of the biggest things that we’ve learned this year is that keeping our hands clean is key. And the easiest way to make that happen is to make your own soap and have it at home.

When you make homemade soap, that means that you’ll never have to worry about running out. Because you can easily just whip up another batch and have it ready in no time at all.

Plus, you know exactly what you’ll be putting into the soap to make it. That’s less chemicals and less “unknown” ingredients so you can concentrate on having yourself and your family wash hands with a better alternative soap.

What happens if the soap isn’t coming out of the soap mold easily?

If you find that you aren’t going to be able to remove the soap as easily as you thought, there are a couple of options that you can do.

First, leave it in the mold and let it continue to firm up for a little bit longer. There is a chance that you haven’t let it become firm enough to remove easily.

If that doesn’t work, be gentle with the soap and try and remove it carefully. If it breaks, it’s still usable but just might be in pieces.

How do you store homemade soap once made?

As long as you store the soap in an airtight container, you should be able to have this soap for up to 3 months.

Storing it in an airtight container will not only keep the scent strong with your soap but it will also keep the soap fresh as well.
