How to Make Double Chocolate M&M Christmas Cookies
If I can be totally honest with you, this cookie recipe is really, really simple. I only act like it’s a bit tough when I’m making it on my own to get a few extra cooking compliments thrown my way!
The kids love measuring out all the cookie ingredients and dumping them into the bowl while I run the mixture for safety reasons. There are times when they get to help as well but we’ve had a few too many “accidents” of the mixing going on full blast and flour being tossed everything that we’re a little more careful nowadays.
Once all the main ingredients are mixed together and the M&M’s are added in, that just leaves the part of popping it in the fridge for an hour to rest. (This is literally the hardest part – the waiting!)
During this time we’ll go for a walk or play a game because that hour literally seems to take forever. (just because we’re all so excited!)
After that hour, we can then pop them in the oven and bake. In about 13 minutes or so, they’ll be done and ready to enjoy.
And be prepared, this simple cookie recipe makes about 40 cookies so you should have plenty to share! (or a lot to eat on your own!)
See how simple this cookie recipe is? It’s literally one of the best holiday cookies ever. Just follow the simple recipe below to make up a batch!
It’s also a super fun cookie to cook up and leave out for Santa as well! He’ll love coming down your chimney and finding these cookies waiting for him!
